Mind Strong (Book)

Self-guided workbook from both a CBT (Cognitive based therapy) and DBT (Decision-based therapy) standpoint. CBT is one of the most powerful tools to help correct behaviors. They are used throughout treatment facilities, both in-patient and out-patient and both foundational to improving the qualitative outcome for people seeking help. If done with complete honestly and transparency a lot of wounds will be recognized. Recognizing and healing those wounds are pivotal steps to a transformed and enlightened life.

The book is divided into two sections, the first section (65 pages) is filled with activities to help overcome personal and social triggers that make people want to “use.” They provide healthy coping skills and suggestions. The second section of the book is a mixture of literature from a few different authors. It provides foundational perspectives to help you lead or foster a purposeful life. We all have life experiences that we learn from that helps to contribute to a positive, healthy life.
